e-Business Register

Also called: Commercial Register, äriregister, e-äriregister

Estonia's official online register of companies, holding each company's registry code, address, board members and annual reports.

The e-Business Register is Estonia’s official online register of legal persons, and every OÜ is in it. The registration department of Tartu District Court (Tartu Maakohus) acts as the registrar, and the Centre of Registers and Information Systems (RIK) runs the system.

For each company, the register records its name, registry code, legal address, board members, share capital and filed annual reports. Anyone can search its data online, free of charge.

Company owners use the register’s portal to register a company, change its details and submit the annual report, signing with a digital ID card. The state fee for registering an OÜ online is €265 (source: abiinfo.rik.ee, checked 3 Oct 2026).

A company’s life also ends in the register, when it is closed and deleted. For the yearly filing, read the annual report guide.
